Fits

Comfortably takes one pair up to a men's US 13 / EU 47, or two smaller pairs. Runners, canvas, knit, skate shoes, most low and mid-tops. Chunky boots and hard-soled dress shoes should not go in a washing machine at all — bag or no bag.

How to wash sneakers properly

Pull the laces and insoles out and wash them separately. Knock the loose dirt off the outsole first. Bag them, run a cold gentle cycle with regular detergent, no bleach. Then air dry only — stuff them with paper and leave them somewhere warm. A tumble dryer will melt the adhesive holding your midsole on, and no bag protects against that.
